June 19, 2018 ~ Exploring Lucca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning our guide, Lodovico, gave us an orientation of the main trip. \u00c2\u00a0All but one couple had arrived. \u00c2\u00a0There was a strike yesterday at airports in Tuscany, so many flights were canceled. \u00c2\u00a0The last couple arrived this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>After the meeting this morning we took a guided tour with our city guide. \u00c2\u00a0We walked on the city wall which surrounds the city. \u00c2\u00a0People ride bikes and walk on the wide paved path. \u00c2\u00a0Our hotel lends bikes free to guests.<img churches. \u00c2\u00a0This is a sculpture that was commissioned by the husband whose wife died in childbirth. \u00c2\u00a0Men often died in their forties during wars, and women often died in their
