Carol's Travels

Happy 4th of July!  I am excited that in two more days we will be flying to Peru!  We will do our best to be good ambassadors from the U.S.

I will test posting just words via email onto the blog.

Now that it has arrived, I will post a picture from the Internet.

Since my experiment worked, I can at least write daily emails and put them in the queue to go out when I get Internet connections. Then later I can add pictures online. I am learning 🙂

Until the problem posting pictures to this blog from email is solved, I will practice posting from the Internet. I took this photo from our deck with my new 18-300 Nikon zoom lens. It is a handheld shot at 300. The camera is my 4-year-old Nikon D90. I am having lots of fun recording memories with this easy-to-use camera.

Here is a sunset photo I took from our deck a few years ago with my previous Lumix FZ18 before it “died” at Victoria Falls. A vertical version was the cover of one of the editions of Mountain Network News!

I am really excited about our upcoming adventure in South America!
